Witchcraft and madness rule the night, evil stalks the righteous and worthy. God-fearing people watch their neighbors for signs of corruption. Numerous witches have been uncovered and brought to trial in Salem. But things have gone too far. The governor's people are arriving tomorrow to put an end to the trials, but tonight 3 last witches face the gallows. Are they lost souls reaping what they have sown, or innocent victims of a town gone mad? Will they have to die to appease the mob? Only the night will tell.

While the game is set in Salem during the trials, this is not intended as a historical reenactment. Characters are fictional and other story elements may be present.

Tim Weaver,

I am a Father of 2, home handyman, Computer Systems administrator, and Gamer - pretty much in that order. I run games a Gencon with Scott Bowman. These games include "Escape from the Late Late Late Show" (not to be confused with the gaming system "It Came from the Late Late Late Show"), Adventure! The Odd Job Society, and Champions, The Great Lakes Avengers. We run the first two in a 'One Camera LARP' style, which basically means get up and act, but only one scene at a time. My wife Wendy also runs at Gencon. Her game is Buffy and is set in Cleveland.

This will be our first Intercon.

Weaver, Wendy

I started playing RPGs in college. Was talked into going to a GenCon 9 years ago where we encountered a wonderfully written LARP. We caught the bug and played a lot in the Chicago area. Then we thought hey why don't we write one ourselves. Salem is Burning is the end result of a couple of years work and then tweaking over the times that we have run it.
